A sneaky suspect spotted suspiciously skulking behind shelves at a Dumfries Dollar Tree is wanted after allegedly exposing himself toward an employee, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
Officers were called to the Dollar Tree on Waterway Drive shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, where there was a report of an indecent exposure incident involving a curious man who fled from the scene.
According to police, an unknown man (pictured above) was shopping in the store when he began to act questionably, hiding behind shelves and behaving bizarrely.
At one point, investigators say that the employee observed the suspect reach into his pants and make inappropriate gestures, prompting a call to the police.
When confronted by the employee, the suspect proceeded to flee the store and left in a late-model green pick-up truck.
Officials noted that during the incident, there was no physical contact between the suspect and the employee, or anybody else in the store.
Investigators described the suspect as an older Black man who is approximately 6-foot-1 weighing 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light-colored hat, tan hooded jacket, dark-colored pants, and brown shoes.
